Social Service

Resolving social problems of our society is one of the principal objectives of any Rotaract club. Even if we are not able to solve all problems, doing nothing is not for us: helping those who really need our assistance we resolve small part of the problems. So, our club helps two orphanages, other nonprofit organizations, and just people that get into trouble. We are opened to new ideas and opportunities to carry out community service.

Club Service

It may seem redundant activity and there is no reason to characterize it as a separate service. However, internal life of a club has much influence on the activities of the club. It is important to make membership interesting and fascinating.

To do so we have some traditions: we celebrate the birthdays of every member of our club, we celebrate together New Year and give gifts to one another.

Sometimes we do hiking along Baikal. Some small difficulties during those trips unite us more and more. Moreover, all members of our club are friends. Parties and spending time together are our favorite activities.

Informational Service

To get new members and resources for the club we need to promote club and its activities. We have the PowerPoint presentation that we use for promotion in local universities. In the spring of the year 2000 we organized a series of radio broadcasts about our club. The result is new guests and members - young people that heard it. In November 2001 we participated in the exhibition of youth organizations that was organized by local government in regional expo-center.

International Service

International service play an important role in the activities of our club. We establish contacts and correspond with different foreign clubs. We get newsletters from foreign clubs and Rotary International. All exchange students take an active role in our projects and start their own ones.
